Key Qualifications:

Current and unrestricted RN license At least 1 year of recent experience in an Operating Room setting Strong understanding of pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing procedures Excellent communication and critical thinking skills Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care during surgical procedures, following best practices and safety protocols Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia teams, and surgical techs to ensure smooth operations Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery, documenting vital information and communicating any changes Prepare and maintain the surgical environment, ensuring strict adherence to sterile technique Educate patients and families about procedure expectations and post-operative care Respond promptly to emergencies and assist in crisis situations as needed
