Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment; full-time hours
Qualifications:
Active RN license At least 1 year of experience in pediatric critical care (2 years preferred) Minimum one completed travel assignment Current BLS and PALS certifications Skilled with EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell, and Philips monitors Strong clinical judgment managing drips typical to ICU; occasional BiPAP management Team-oriented, adaptive, and resourceful Comfortable in open bay unit and "all hands on deck" environment
Responsibilities:
Care for pediatric PACU patients, with ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on acuity Support primarily inpatient, some outpatient, across most surgical specialties (excluding cardiac) Take telemetry responsibilities and coordinate with in-house anesthesia Adapt to occasional coverage of adult patients as unit needs shift Collaborate with educators, transporters, unit clerks, and a dedicated charge nurse Maintain meticulous records and provide family-centered care
