Job Description
Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Experience the charm of rural central Wisconsin with a travel Physical Therapy assignment based in Spencer. This opportunity situates you within a region known for its scenic trails, welcoming communities, and access to outdoor adventures—ideal for those who thrive on exploration during their downtime. Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Minimal weekend coverage: One shift every 2-3 months (1-3 hours) No holiday requirements This role enables you to work primarily in an outpatient setting (90%), with occasional in-hospital evaluations. You'll care for 8-12 patients daily in focused 30-45 minute sessions, primarily addressing orthopedic rehabilitation, general deconditioning, and neurological cases. Acute and swing bed responsibilities constitute less than 10% of your workload, with evaluations followed by delegation to a PTA. You'll be supported by an experienced rehab manager and a dedicated rehab aide, encouraging continual skill advancement.Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program Active BLS certification Professional, clean workplace attire or scrubs required Prior experience in outpatient orthopedics and/or acute/inpatient PT preferredKey Duties:
Evaluate and treat a diverse caseload with a focus on orthopedic and neuro conditions Complete timely documentation and care plans Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment Perform occasional inpatient evaluations Participate in the rotation for minimal weekend coverageBenefits and Travel Perks:
