Travel assignment; flexible scheduling
Qualifications:
Valid and current Physical Therapist (PT) license in Pennsylvania (or eligibility) Experience with outpatient therapy strongly preferred Solid understanding of state and federal regulatory compliance for physical therapy Commitment to superior quality and safety in all patient interactions Strong communication and educational skills for working with patients, families, and colleagues
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans according to patient needs and physician directives Direct and oversee discipline-specific therapy services, assigning and guiding support personnel as appropriate Facilitate effective return to community activities through functional treatment programs Accurately document all care activities and assessments in compliance with policy and regulatory requirements Participate in ongoing professional development and performance improvement initiatives Serve as a resource and educator to patients, families, and peers Uphold organizational safety standards and promote a culture of safety throughout the department
