Travel Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and regain independence under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Apply today and a recruiter will follow up with assignment details. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Washington state PTA license required to start the assignment. BLS certification required from American Heart Association or American Red Cross prior to start. Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings is required. Demonstrated competency with restorative nursing programs, transfers and gait training, therapeutic exercise, and ADL optimization. Ability to follow care plans developed by supervising Physical Therapist and document progress according to facility policy. Current immunizations and TB screening per facility policy.
Preferred:
Experience with electronic medical record systems commonly used in post-acute care.

Float Requirement:
May be required to float to other facilities within the same health system as needed.
