Category Therapy - Hospital - PTA Job Type Travel Seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to deliver exceptional rehabilitative care in a dynamic hospital setting. This contract opportunity lets you contribute to patient recovery alongside a collaborative clinical team, using your expertise to make a tangible impact on patient outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Graduation from an accredited PTA program Experience supporting physical therapy in a hospital environment Proficiency in therapeutic procedures, patient mobility, and exercise programs Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team Commitment to evidence-based practices and patient-focused care
Primary Responsibilities:
Implement individualized therapy plans developed by licensed Physical Therapists Guide patients through therapeutic exercises to improve mobility and strength Support patient safety and comfort during treatment sessions Monitor and record patient progress, reporting findings to supervising therapists Educate patients and families on exercises and strategies for rehabilitation and injury prevention Assist with maintaining therapeutic equipment and ensuring a safe treatment area This role is ideal for a motivated PTA eager to work in a supportive hospital environment, utilizing your professional expertise to improve the health and quality of life for those you serve.
