Schedule/Hours:
Travel position; specific hours and scheduling details provided during interview.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately verify patient identification using verbal confirmation and record review. Confirm and clarify procedure orders, ensuring all documentation is precise. Greet and assist patients with preparation, thoroughly explain procedures, and provide reassurance to minimize anxiety. Select and apply appropriate technical factors for imaging, consistently achieving proper patient positioning. Maintain a high standard of image quality and verify successful transfer to PACS before review by Radiologists. Assist with pain management procedures, demonstrating expert knowledge of C-Arm/Fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment. Complete age-specific care and annual training. Adhere to confidentiality policies and ensure all care aligns with the highest ethical standards. Optimize time management to ensure efficient procedure turnaround, even in complex scenarios.
Desired Qualifications:
Registered Radiology Technologist, ARRT certification preferred. Demonstrated expertise in various imaging equipment and techniques. Current BLS certification. Previous travel experience is a plus but not required. Exceptional communication skills and patient-first attitude.
