This 13-week travel role provides vital hands-on experience within a large, reputable healthcare system, working Night shifts (12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week guaranteed). Schedule:
Night shifts, 12 hours per shift 36 hours/week guaranteed Every other weekend requiredRequired Qualifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2-3 years of experience; OR Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with 5-7 years recent experience Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) PALS certification (AHA) NRP preferred Valid driver's license for radius verification (must live over 50 miles away) Must not be employed (FT, PT, PRN) at facilities affiliated with certain healthcare systems Must meet fingernail policy (no artificial nails)Responsibilities:
Deliver general and critical respiratory care across all units, including ED and surgical areas Respond to rapid response and code blue calls Assess, recommend, and administer treatment using nebulizers, ventilators, and age-appropriate protocols Work independently, adapting to varied patient needsBenefits & Perks:
