Schedule/Hours:
Travel contract position Assignments may include variable shifts and locations based on need
Desired Qualifications:
Current license/certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist Experience with complex respiratory procedures across age groups Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control standards Ability to instruct patients, families, and staff High degree of adaptability and initiative
Key Responsibilities:
Administer IPPB therapy, humidity, and aerosol therapy Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation, electrocardiography, and blood gas analysis Manage and maintain mechanical ventilation, artificial airways, and respiratory equipment Conduct pulmonary function testing and perform arterial blood gas sampling Provide patient/family education on respiratory equipment and disease management Develop exercise routines and bronchial clearing techniques Respond to emergency calls and participate in cardiorespiratory rehabilitation Assist with bronchoscopies, quality assurance, and instruction of new staff
