Schedule:
Flexible travel assignmentKey Responsibilities:
Deliver intensive respiratory care and safe patient transport as prescribed Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans Educate patients on therapies, tests, and discharge protocols Administer treatments using ventilatory, oxygen, aerosol, and nebulizer devices (invasive and non-invasive) Perform chest physiotherapy, patient suctioning, and oximetry/capnography monitoring Conduct pulmonary function studies, EKGs, and basic arrhythmia recognition Assist with bronchoscopy, tracheostomy care, chest drainage, and arterial punctures Operate, monitor, and maintain ventilatory equipment; coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance Participate in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (BLS/ACLS), endotracheal tube management Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and communication with physicians and colleagues during clinical handoffs Maintain data entry for therapy charging and laboratory specimen handling Engage in other relevant duties as assignedDesired Qualifications:
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist license Previous experience in acute/critical care environments strongly preferred Strong understanding of respiratory assessment, therapeutic modalities, and disease management BLS and ACLS certification required Excellent communication and patient education skills Ability to thrive with minimal supervision and collaborate within a multidisciplinary teamOutstanding Benefits:
