For this position, you'll be part of a summer school initiative, supporting a homebound student in coordination with a virtual therapy team. With the assistance of an onsite paraprofessional, your focus will be delivering exceptional, individualized special education during a brief but impactful assignment.
In this role you will:
Collaborate with virtual OT, PT, and SLP professionals to develop and implement IEPs. Provide direct special education instruction to a homebound student each weekday from 11:45 am to 2:45 pm. Partner with an onsite paraprofessional to facilitate student learning and engagement. Track progress, complete necessary documentation, and adapt strategies for optimal outcomes.
We are seeking professionals who:
Hold valid credentials as a Special Education Teacher. Have experience in special education, preferably with homebound or virtual collaborative settings. Excel in teamwork, communication, and creative problem-solving. Are available from June 1st to July 16th. Why consider this assignment?
