Schedule/Hours:

Weekend rotation every other weekend No call required for travelers Must be available to work 75% of holidays

Key Qualifications:

Active RN license Minimum 18 months of recent PCU RN experience (Resource Team) Required certifications:

BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Proficiency in critical care drip management (including Insulin, Nitroglycerin, Cardene, Diltiazem, Amiodarone, Heparin) Strong general PCU skillset: stroke management, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube and drain/tube management, NGT placement, PCA pumps Experience with patient populations including stroke, heart failure, chest pain, COPD, cardiac cath, liver failure, AKI/CKD, ETOH/CIWA, GI disorders Ability to float to different units/facilities as needed within the region

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive stepdown/PCU nursing care with

RN:
