Desired Qualifications:
Active RN license Minimum of one year recent Stepdown or progressive care nursing experience BLS and ACLS certifications Strong assessment, monitoring, and critical care skills Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care for patients transitioning from ICU to general care Monitor patient progress continuously and report any significant changes to providers Administer prescribed treatments, medications, and therapies Collaborate with physicians, other RNs, and allied health professionals to develop and implement care plans Educate patients and families regarding post-ICU recovery and discharge instructions Maintain detailed, accurate patient records
