Schedule/Hours:

7:00 am - 7:30 pm shifts Every other and/or every third holiday rotation

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the stepdown unit, monitoring and responding to changes in patient status. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans. Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and post-discharge care. Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to hospital protocols and patient safety standards.

Qualifications:

Current and valid RN license. Recent stepdown nursing experience strongly preferred. Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS) certifications. Strong critical thinking, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
