Take your nursing journey to a telemetry pulmonary unit—a specialized, 36-bed floor known for treating a wide variety of respiratory conditions. This role is an outstanding opportunity to work alongside multidisciplinary teams, enhancing your knowledge of pulmonary care as well as collaborating with experts in respiratory therapy, care management, pharmacy, and physical therapy. With a manageable 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio, you'll develop deeper skills while directly caring for patients and supporting their families. Schedule/Hours:
Choice of 36 or 48 hours per week Holidays as required Every other weekend Must be open to floating to other units and hospitalsQualifications:
Associate degree in nursing Valid AHA BLS or Red Cross certification Active Registered Nurse license for Alabama or Compact State (not accepting temporary licenses) Minimum 2 years of experience (will consider 18 months if at least 1 year is recent and in specialty)Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with a variety of pulmonary conditions Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care Float to other units or facilities as needed, adapting smoothly Engage in patient/family education and supportBenefits and Perks:
