Desired Qualifications:

Current certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS or equivalent) Experience in general ultrasound modalities Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Solid understanding of medical ethics and patient privacy Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to mentor students and new employees in a clinical setting

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality sonographic procedures and ensure accurate image processing Collaborate with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care Participate in image quality assurance and maintain accreditation standards Supervise and assist student sonographers in their clinical training Maintain department efficiency, uphold hospital policies, and foster teamwork Monitor supplies and equipment, report malfunctions, and assist with budget management Document patient care and procedure details in the electronic health record Proactively ensure a safe and organized work environment
