Traveling Construction Laborer with CDL New Kingstown, PA 1 DAYS AGO 22503993 Summary New Kingstown, PA Remote $22.25 - $22.25 per Hour 3 Years Experience High school graduate or equivalency certificate (GED) No Commission 60.00 hours per week / Rotation Shift / Full-Time / Hours May Vary Description Do you like to travel? 100% Nationwide Travel Surface Preparation Technologies, LLC (SPT) is seeking full-time Construction Laborers and Operators with a CDL class A or B. Must be willing to do extensive travel across the U.S. going to different states and cities, may be from Holiday to Holiday. Paid single occupancy hotel accommodation and daily $50 per diem provided.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Operating heavy equipment and driving vehicles on State highway interstate systems with minimal supervision once trained. Occasionally interact with inspectors, DOT personnel, and engineers as needed. Communicate with team to ensure smooth production. Inspect and maintain equipment. Wear PPE as required.

QUALIFICATIONS/JOB SKILLS

REQUIRED:

Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's license with a good driving record. Complete inspections, logs, & fuel reports. Ability to make decisions in difficult rumbling conditions. Mechanical ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment. Knowledge of job specific safety practices. Knowledge of hand and power tools. Precise ability to read a tape measure.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift 60 pounds or more as needed. Ability to work 8-14-hour days. Must be able to stand or walk on pavement for long periods of time. Ability to maneuver on or around equipment.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Exposure to heat, cold, rain and dust on a regular basis. Extensive travel (100%) and long hours away from home. Noisy environment, need ear plugs.
