The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of managed care, medical office procedures, and dental insurance processes. Responsibilities Verify patient insurance coverage accurately by reviewing policies, benefits, and limitations using various insurance portals and systems. Communicate effectively with insurance companies to obtain pre-authorizations, clarify coverage details, and resolve claim issues. Assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits, including copayments, deductibles, and coverage limitations. Maintain comprehensive and organized medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Collaborate with the clinical team to coordinate treatment plans based on insurance approvals and patient needs.
