1st Shift; Monday-Friday; 6:45am - 2:45pm
Position Description:
This position is responsible for using hand and pneumatic tools to assemble, wire, and install components in commercial, residential, and agricultural waste-hauling tanks. The qualified candidate will pull wires, install wiring harnesses and terminate wires in fuse boxes, run conduit, and install switches. The candidate will also install pumps, toolboxes, valves, running lights and taillights, align PTOs, install hydraulics and hydraulic lines, and test equipment. A steady hand, natural motivation, positive attitude/aptitude and an outstanding attention to detail are recommended.Responsibilities:
Gather and position materials and parts according to assembly documentation or verbal instruction. Safely operate various equipment such as hand and pneumatic tools, material handling equipment, and overhead cranes. Inspect work for defects and ensures equipment is assembled to specifications. Maintain and repair all machinery and perform daily housekeeping. Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing protective gloves, protective eyewear, and safety shoes. Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature. Responsible for repair and warranty work on used equipment. Perform all other duties assigned.Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Must be able to read and understand blueprints and read a tape measure. Strong electromechanical/heavy equipment mechanic background desired. Previous manufacturing experience. Outstanding attention to detail. Solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Capability of understanding technical plans and drawings. Ability to troubleshoot and make product operational. Ability to work with minimum supervision. Maintain accurate work and good levels of concentration. Ability to work in a team environment and/or on an individual basis.
