Trusts and Estates Associate Synectics Inc - 4.4 Roseland, NJ Job Details $100,000 a year 6 hours ago Qualifications Valuation Mid-level State tax 3 years Wills, trusts & estate law Full Job Description The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience handling all aspects of estate administration, from date of death through final distributions, including: Serving as a client-facing point of contact and communicating directly with clients, accountants, financial institutions and other professional throughout the estate administration process; Preparing probate documents and assisting with the probate process (NJ required, NY a plus but not required); Assisting with the collection of assets and obtaining date-of-death valuations; Preparing Federal and State estate and/or inheritance tax returns; Preparing Receipts, Releases and Refunding Bonds in connection with distributions; Assisting with asset distributions and the closing of estates; Familiarity with portability elections, QTIP trusts, bypass/credit shelter trusts, GST issues, and related reporting on estate tax returns; and Familiarity with gift tax returns. The successful candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, professional, and capable of working independently while also coordinating effectively with attorneys and other team members in a busy, sophisticated trusts and estates practice. #INDSYN
