SN Mat Fetal Med PC Position Summary Summary:

Produces and records high quality sonographic images for any current or potential problems in high risk pregnancies in accordance with practice protocols. Responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment, performing all exams while providing a preliminary summary of findings to the Physician. Provide direct patient care that ensures efficient access to safe, quality and compassionate care, in an environment that is welcoming to patients and their families. Work in partnership with other healthcare professionals to provide the best medical care possible to all patients.

Qualifications Responsibilities:

Education Required Must complete in-house orientation program High School diploma or GED preferred Graduate of an accredited medical sonography program. Experience And Skills Excellent interpersonal skills Speaks, reads and writes English License/Certifications American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Obstetrics/Gynecology (ARDMS) certified. Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF) certificate in the Nuchal Translucency (NT) scan (Preferred).

Working Conditions Other information:

Working Conditions Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn Walking and standing for long periods of time. Able to transport self and ultrasound equipment to multiple locations. Moderate lifting.
