Cyber Analyst Trainer Requirement:

Immediate hire; full time; full benefits Work week: Monday through Friday, generally 0800-1700; hours may vary with mission needs. Travel may be required up to 30%, including worldwide travel to hazardous duty areas.

Education and Experience:

Joint Forces Staff College or Service equivalent.

Job Summary:

Supports the Joint Staff J7 Deputy Directorate Joint Training and Exercises in Suffolk, Virginia under the CJT contract. The contract supports all phases of the Joint Training System for large joint and combined military exercises, with emphasis on the five stages of the Joint Event Life Cycle. The analyst trainer supports the Deployable Training and Lessons Division by observing exercises and staff assistance visits, training joint force commanders and staffs, and providing feedback on operational authorities to improve readiness for crisis and conflict. The primary focus is on cyberspace planning, advancing operational effectiveness through the integration of best practices and lessons learned.

Basic Qualifications:

Requires knowledge of Service orJoint Cyberspace Operations. Ability to write concisely at an executive level.

Preferred Qualifications:

Subject matter expert on cyberspace operations within joint and multinational environments. Combatant Command, Joint Task Force, Division, Afloat staff, or Wing staff experience. Understanding of the requirements for staffs to support the commander's decision cycle. Understanding of the Joint Planning Process (JPP). Knowledge of advanced war fighting concepts. Experience with the preparation and conduct of seminars or study groups for flag officers. Ability to write and prepare operational orders and plans. Experience in the compilation and presentation in both written and oral formats of lessons learned and after-action review material.
