Looking to fill an immediate on-call waiver direct care position. What Is an "On-Call" Job Position?

Definition:

An "on-call" position means that while the employee isn't working a standard schedule, they are available to be contacted and work if needed. This is often used in roles where there might be irregular or unpredictable needs for work.

5pm-7a Paid a base rate of 40 hours • $12.50 whether you get called out to work a shift or not. Up to 60 hours weekly. Must be in the Fort Smith/Van Buren area in order to reach homes quickly when call outs occur. Previous experience in this (direct support provider) or similar fields preferred. We are looking for an individual who is dependable, responsible, a team player, flexible, and on time to assist individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities in their home and community. A high school diploma/GED, reliable transportation, valid driver's license and registration, auto insurance in applicant's name, electronic device with access to the internet, and ability to perform personal care are required. Lifting may be required for specific positions. This is a safety sensitive position, meaning the potential employee is responsible for the safety of others.
