In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our distribution operations, efficiently moving and managing inventory with a focus on safety, accuracy, and productivity. Responsibilities Operate walkie rider pallet jacks and other heavy equipment such as clamp trucks and RF scanners to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse Pick, pack, and organize orders with precision using order picker tools and warehouse management systems Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols outlined by OSHA standards Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely, utilizing mechanical knowledge of pallet jacks, cranes, and other equipment to handle materials effectively Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage layouts and improve workflow efficiency Maintain a clean, organized work environment by following proper materials handling procedures Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar logistics environments Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklift trucks, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and crane operation is highly desirable Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for order picking and inventory tracking Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues Prior experience in shipping & receiving or construction environments is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently while maintaining attention to detail #
