Job Description

We are a company with 40 years of providing decorating services (coatings, silk screen, pad printing, hot stamping, and pressure sensitive labeling) in the cosmetic, beverage, pharmaceutical and candle industries with high standards in our customer service and high-end products for the largest industries in the world. Currently we are expanding our work force, and we are searching to fill a position in our warehouse. We are looking for an experienced warehouse manager to lead and oversee all warehouse operations. This position requires a hands-on leader with exceptional organization skills and a strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate activities of warehouse personnel. Receive and review purchase orders; prepare materials for shipping. Document and verify records of incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare shipping notices and required documentation (bill of lading, invoices, hazardous waste forms). Utilize knowledge of shipping rates, procedures, routes, and carriers. Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, completeness, and condition. Determine space requirements for positioning shipments in the warehouse. Inspect loading operations for compliance with customer, state, and federal specifications. Notify quality manager and customer service of any nonconforming products or labels. Inspect and maintain shipping and handling equipment; maintain vehicle maintenance logs.
Qualifications:
Excellent math, communication, reading, and organizational skills. Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, procedures, and machinery. Ability to set clear objectives and train new employees to meet company expectations. Experience with compliance standards and documentation requirements. Leadership skills with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
