Warehouse Specialist II - OO SWING SHIFT

Do you have warehouse/inventory experience? VSS Logistics is recruiting for an experienced Swing Shift Warehouse Specialist II with a background in warehousing, inventory, and logistics. We are looking for an individual who is detail-oriented, dependable, qualified, and collaborative to join our mission. Swing Shift hours are 12:45pm-9:30pm Monday through Friday.

JOB DUTIES

Accurately perform required daily cycle counts of warehouse locations and enter counts into inventory system Confirm transactions performed into an inventory system Pick material from warehouse locations and assemble kits per List of Material (LOM) with quality and accuracy Perform material shelf-life audits/tasks using the First In - First Out (FIFO) method Pick material for customer orders and affix proper labeling to packaging Assist in maintaining daily warehouse metrics and support operations in various warehouse areas as needed Perform general bin maintenance Support warehouse lead nightly to ensure daily throughput is completed Perform other Level 1 and Level 2 warehouse duties, as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to work the required 40-hour per week shift Ability to meet contractor-required background check Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening Previous experience with computers/data entry skills is required Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required (Word, Excel) Must take pride in work performance and have keen attention to detail Excellent attendance and work ethic Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Two years experience in warehousing, inventory control, quality, manufacturing, and/or material handling is required Goal-oriented with the ability to meet daily, weekly, or monthly metrics for assigned tasks Contribute maximum daily effort to achieve individual and team goals Be responsible and accountable for job performance and accuracy Model personal and professional integrity Ability to work effectively in a team environment High School diploma required
