Job Description

A Day in the Life of a Warehouse Technician As a Warehouse Technician, you play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly by managing inventory and supporting distribution processes. Your day may include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment, as well as operating forklifts and other equipment to organize and maintain the warehouse. You'll ensure accurate inventory records, assist with audits, and maintain the readiness of our large loss fleet and restoration equipment. In our fast-paced environment, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach are essential to keeping everything operating efficiently and supporting the success of our restoration projects.
Responsibilities:
Support daily operations for equipment, consumables, and logistics across branches and jobsites Manage and maintain warehouse inventories, including monthly consumables and annual assets Fulfill outbound orders, assemble shipments, and staff laydown yards for Area Wide Events (AWE) Ensure warehouse safety, organization, and cleanliness through Lean 5S processes Maintain equipment standards, perform basic repairs, troubleshoot issues, and manage large-loss fleet readiness Receive, inspect, and accurately track inbound inventory; prepare reports and reconcile discrepancies Identify parts needs, manage orders, and advise on cost-effective inventory replenishment Train warehouse personnel on equipment maintenance and operational procedures
Experience & Education:
2+ years in warehouse and distribution operations 1+ year of hands-on experience in general equipment maintenance Certification in Power-Truck Equipment Operation High school diploma or GED
