Quarry Hilltop Quarry Overview Hilltop Quarry, a division of The H&K Group, Inc . is searching for a Water Truck Driver/Laborer to join their team! The driver operates water truck to transport and dump water for dust suppression and aids in other responsibilities to support Quarry production. The ideal candidate is safety focused, pays attention to detail, and excels at teamwork. A CDL license is not required. Why work for H&K Group, Inc.? Competitive salary commensurate with experience 100% Company-paid Health Benefits 401(k) Savings and Investment Plan Tuition reimbursement programs available to qualifying employees for approved programs Additional training opportunities including on the job, online through the H&K Academy, manufacturer offered training, and more Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs all work according to OSHA/MSHA and H&K Safety policies Performs pre and post trip of truck every day and fills out daily inspection sheets Drives safely and efficiently to achieve production goals Does regular inspection of roadways to determine dust suppression needs Performs routine maintenance on truck such as lubrication and cleaning Water roads for dust control Water shots to control dust General clean-up around the plant Other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Skills, Education, and Experience High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution OR related experience and/or training A combination of education and experience may be considered Driver's license Clean Driving record Effective verbal and written communication Mathematical skills Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job) Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience Applicable safety certifications from OSHA, MSHA, etc. Previous experience in surface mining, construction materials, heavy civil and highway construction Physical Demands Regularly required to Sit Use hands to finger, handle, or feel Reach with hands and arms Frequently required to talk or hear Occasionally required to Stand Walk, climb, or balance Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Specific vision abilities: Distance Peripheral Depth perception Work Environment Regularly exposed to Outside weather conditions Vibration Frequently exposed to Moving mechanical parts Fumes or airborne particles Noise level is usually loud Hilltop Quarry has been a trusted H&K Group, Inc. affiliate company since 2004.
