Job Overview We are seeking a skilled, experienced Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to read and interpret schematics. Certifications required. This is not an entry level position. Position requires past on the job welding fabrication experience and certifications. This role involves fabricating and building metal structures and components using various welding processes, including FCAW and Stick welding. The Welder will work with power tools and plasma cutting equipment to ensure high-quality workmanship in all projects. Duties Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and requirements. Perform welding tasks using FCAW, Stick welding, and other methods to fabricate metal components. Utilize power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials. Conduct routine inspections of completed welds to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes. Experience Proven experience in welding, with a strong background in FCAW, Stick welding, and plasma cutting techniques. Certification required. Mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding equipment operation and maintenance. Familiarity with fabrication processes and the ability to build metal structures from scratch is preferred. Experience using various power tools related to the welding trade is highly desirable. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
