RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate and tend welding machinery used to join metal partsRead and interpret blueprints and instructionsMonitor and listen to welding machine and adjust settings when needed to meet specificationsInspect product to ensure quality and damagesTransport products to a designated location using a forklift, pallet jack, or other moving equipmentPerform basic maintenance and upkeep of machinery or call for repairs when necessaryMaintain an organized, safe, and clean work environmentComply with health and safety regulations and always wear protective gear

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Basic knowledge of hand and power toolsExperience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is a plusAbility to stand for long periodsEngage in repetitive motions including bending, squatting, pushing, and pullingAbility to work in various weather and temperature conditionsStrong teamwork, communication, and organizational skillsExcellent manual dexterity and attention to detailGreat attendance and punctualSurge hires for a variety of top jobs in the area.
