Wound Care Nurse LPN/RN

Wound nurse needed for Douglasville Center Nursing and Rehabilitation $5,000 sign on bonus! full time only! We are currently seeking a full-time wound care RN/LPN. The wound care nurse participates in assessing and evaluating the clinical needs of resident with wounds, and works with the resident and the rest of the care team in planning and implementing care that addresses the needs. This work is carried out in support of the mission of Woodstock Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Hours:

Full-time Monday-Friday (8am-4pm). Includes Every Other Weekend. •

Wound Care Nurse Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive wound consultations including; detailed wound assessments and recommendations for interventions and care planning. Conduct wound assessments for resident and complete all associated documentation, tracking and care planning activities. Ongoing monitoring of all assigned resident with wounds. Assess resident/caregivers knowledge of wound prevention and treatment. Provide resident/ caregiver with wound prevention / treatment education as needed. We look forward to hearing from you!
