Youth Ministry Program Director

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED; B.A. or some post-secondary education preferred
• Unwavering commitment to Christ-centered quality programs and outreach to children/families
• Significant experience in youth ministry or related field, track record of effectively leading staff and volunteers; ability to point to specific examples of having led groups of children/youth effectively
• Effective supervisory skills
• Successful results from the criminal background and reference checks, and drug testing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary skills
• Mission-driven and self-directed
• Insurable under a vehicle insurance policy and valid driver's license

GENERAL DUTIES

• Supervise the center's staff and volunteers
• Oversee family assistance and community outreach programming
• Maintain a deep relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
• Oversee the Super Kids Afterschool, Summer Camp, and Ready4Work youth leadership programs
• Promote Heart Reach Neighborhood Ministries programs
• Assist with new program development
• Coordinate volunteers working with the children and youth
• Oversee building and vehicle usage as needed
• Manage food, clothing, and houseware donations 36 hrs.
