Job Description

Responsibilities:
Program Implementation:
Implement the i9 Sports cheerleading program tailored to young children, focusing on age-appropriate skills, activities, and routines. Create the i9 Sports Experience at the field or court level.
Coaching and Instruction:
Provide clear and enthusiastic instruction to children, teaching basic cheerleading moves, chants, and routines in a fun and engaging manner.
Event Coordination:
Organize and oversee cheerleading performances for local league games.
Safety and Well-being:
Ensure all activities comply with safety standards and promote the well-being of participants. Maintain a safe and positive environment at all times.
Communication:
Maintain open and effective communication with parents, keeping them informed about schedules, events, and their child's progress.
Team Building:
Encourage a sense of teamwork, cooperation, and respect among all participants. Promote a positive and inclusive environment. Duties in other sports required
Experience:
  • Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
  • Experience in teaching or coaching sports activities
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members.
  • Experience in Cheerleading is preferred
  • The Cheer Coordinator is responsible for creating a fun, supportive, and engaging cheerleading program for young children ages 3 to 8.
This role involves teaching basic cheerleading skills, coordinating practices and events, and fostering a positive environment that encourages teamwork and confidence. The Cheer Coordinator will work closely with children, parents, and staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
