Direct Support Professional

Job description: job Title DSP 1 Department Direct Support Professional Job Summary Reports To Elizabeth Broussard Sign Language a PLUS Plans, directs, or coordinates the activities of a client's program. General Accountabilities Develops and coordinates daily activities program. Monitors client's' performance and provides regular feedback. Maintains an up-to-date numerical count of clients. Develops and implements client's recognition activities. Coordinates client's activities and local community outreach programs. Collaborates with local community service organizations. Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of clients. Job coaches must follow a schedule as written, unless instructed otherwise by the supervisor. Assist in the implementation of Individual service plan (ISP). Maintain all data collection forms, notes, and other required documents. Document all significant incidents as they occur using appropriate forms. Participate in monthly in services and training programs. Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Experience:

Two to four years of related experience. English speaking Bilingual a plus. be 18 years old. Must have reliable transportation. Must have a working telephone. Pass a DOJ background check. Pre employment 5 pane drug screen. California Driver's License. Pass TB test. Have current

CPR/1 ST
