As a Lead Automotive Technician specializing in light and medium-duty fleet vehicles, your role is crucial in ensuring the safety, satisfaction, and excellence of our fleet maintenance services.

Compensation:

Employee discounts Tablet and/or cellphone provided What the Lead Automotive Technician role looks like: Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a Tablet/Cellphone Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to light and medium duty vehicles Diagnose and Repair gas and MD Diesel Vehicles. Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation required Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures Inspect and perform work on the under parts of vehicles Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance & Repairs. Move parts to and from the job site and remove or install these parts on vehicles Maintain general upkeep and maintenance of Mobile Service Truck Respond to off-site client requests as needed Interact with clients through both email and phone as necessary Perform other duties as required What our ideal candidate looks like: At least 5 years experience performing vehicle maintenance & Repairs. Must have valid CA Driver's License Proficient computer skills: knowledge of Fleet Management Systems, and Emails Ability to work without direct supervision Strong written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)

Working Conditions:

Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job. Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise. Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases or other irritants Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance Ability to move and position heavy objects Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehicles Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
