Position Summary:

The Youth Treatment Coordinator (YTC) is responsible for promoting awareness, prevention, and early intervention related to youth and young adult substance use and co-occurring mental health needs. This position focuses on community outreach, education, and coordination of evidence-based services for youth and families. The YTC will work collaboratively with internal teams, community partners, and service providers to strengthen and sustain a continuum of care for youth experiencing or at risk for substance use and co-occurring disorders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide community outreach and education to increase awareness of youth substance use, including signs, screening tools, and available resources. Conduct presentations and training sessions for schools, community groups, and service organizations. Support the development and implementation of evidence-based, developmentally appropriate prevention and treatment services for youth and their families. Collaborate with internal programs, schools, healthcare providers, and community partners to ensure coordinated care and referrals. Participate in community coalitions and task forces related to youth behavioral health and substance use prevention. Maintain documentation, reports, and data related to program activities and outcomes. Provide both direct and indirect support services to youth and families as appropriate. Adhere to all Pathways policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma Minimum of two (2) years' experience working with youth or young adults in a human services, behavioral health, or substance use setting preferred. Peer Support Specialist certification preferred.

Skills and Knowledge:

Knowledge of youth development, substance use prevention, and mental health services. Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills. Ability to build relationships with schools, families, and community partners. Organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work independently and travel within the service area as needed. This is a full time position
