Job Description

Stand‑Up Forklift Operator (2nd Shift) - Lockport, IL | $20.25/hr. Position Summary We are hiring an experienced Stand‑Up Forklift Operator for a full‑time 2nd shift warehouse role in Lockport, IL. This position is ideal for candidates skilled in operating stand‑up forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and cherry pickers while supporting daily warehouse, shipping, and inventory operations. If you have 2-3+ years of forklift experience, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Stand‑Up Forklift Operation — Safely operate stand‑up forklifts and reach trucks to move corrugated products throughout the warehouse. High‑Rack Picking — Pull product from double‑deep racks using reach equipment. Order Selection — Use a cherry picker/order picker to retrieve materials and fulfill orders. Loading & Unloading — Load and unload inbound/outbound trucks quickly and safely. Inventory Control — Perform cycle counts, verify inventory accuracy, and use RF scanners for tracking. Quality & Accuracy — Inspect loads, confirm correct product, and ensure timely delivery. Equipment Care — Complete routine cleaning, fueling, and basic maintenance. Material Handling — Weigh materials, record production data, and communicate with team members during material movement. Required Experience 2-3+ years of forklift experience (stand‑up forklift strongly preferred). Ability to use RF scanners for picking and inventory tasks. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume warehouse environment. Shift, Location & Job Type 2nd Shift - Full‑Time / Permanent On‑site in Lockport, IL Stable, long‑term warehouse opportunity with consistent hours. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Lockport, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.25 - $20.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
