GPS was started in 1910 and remains under family-ownership and management. Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts receivable processes. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will work closely with other departments to facilitate timely collections and account reconciliations. Responsibilities

• Process and record incoming payments accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Handle customer inquiries regarding billing issues and payment status.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding payment terms, overdue accounts, and any billing inquiries
• Collaborate with the sales team to support customer inquiries related to payments and credits. Experience
• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar position.
• Strong knowledge of double entry bookkeeping principles and practices.
• Familiarity with Epicor Eclipse/Solar or similar accounting software is highly desirable.
• Experience in distribution of plumbing supplies (or construction supplies generally) and B2B businesses is preferrable
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
