Dental CAD/CAM Designer

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental CAD/CAM Designer to join our innovative dental team. In this role, you will utilize advanced computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) technologies to create precise dental restorations, including crowns, bridges, veneers, and implants. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality, functional, and aesthetically pleasing dental prosthetics that meet both clinical and patient needs. Duties Develop detailed digital designs of dental restorations using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and optimal fit based on intraoral scans and impressions Prepare and modify digital models, incorporating anatomical knowledge and dental terminology to meet specific patient requirements Operate and troubleshoot CAM machinery for the fabrication of dental restorations, maintaining strict infection control and aseptic techniques Review design specifications for quality assurance, verifying dimensions with tools such as micrometers and ensuring compliance with industry standards Stay updated on advancements in dental CAD/CAM technology, medical coding, and laboratory procedures to continuously improve design quality and efficiency Experience Proven experience in dental office settings or laboratories involving dental fabrication or digital design processes Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM software platforms used for designing dental restorations Strong understanding of dental anatomy, medical imaging interpretation, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry Laboratory experience in prosthetic fabrication or related fields is highly desirable Ability to retain information and adhere to protocols Organizational skills

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
