Full Job Description The Story:

The Lone Rider is an original feature film rooted in the tradition of the great American road film — visceral, mythic, and set against the vast landscape of California from the Mojave to San Francisco. Written and developed as a serious, festival-caliber production, the film draws on the lineage of Easy Rider and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly while charting its own original course. This is not an ensemble piece. LISA is the film. She appears in nearly every scene. The camera follows her, the world reveals itself through her, and the audience's entire experience of the story is mediated through her presence. This is a rare kind of role — the kind that defines a career. Production details, story specifics, and the full script are available upon request following initial submission. The Character:

LISA is a woman in motion. She travels alone, operates by her own code, and carries something — a weight, a history — that the film never names directly. The audience senses it from the first frame. She is not damaged. She is not searching in the way that requires other characters to explain her to the viewer. She simply is , completely, in every scene she occupies. She is physically capable and credible in demanding conditions — desert heat, open highway, confined spaces, confrontation. She rides a motorcycle. She fights when she has to, cleanly and without theatrics. She is at home in the wild and equally at home in a room full of people who mean her harm. She is also capable of great tenderness — expressed mostly through what she notices about other people, and occasionally through what she allows herself to receive. These moments are rare in the script and must land with full weight when they come.

Most importantly:

LISA speaks less than she listens. Her silences are the performance. The role will be won or lost in the actor's face, eyes, and stillness — not in the dialogue.
