Job Description

Brennan & Stuart, Inc. is an independent insurance agency in La Salle, Illinois serving clients throughout the Midwest and beyond. Our team of employees is made up of a group of dedicated insurance professionals who put the needs of our clients first and work together to achieve positive outcomes. We are looking for a motivated individual to be the face and voice of Brennan & Stuart while providing prompt, accurate, and reliable assistance in a team environment. Role and Responsibilities:
Assist Account Managers by handling various administrative tasks related to both personal and commercial insurance lines such as:
  • Entering, preparing, processing, and documenting new and renewal business, endorsements, and policy changes
  • Review policies for accuracy and prepare policy binders for delivery
  • Create, update, and issue Certificates of Insurance/Evidence of Property
  • Order Loss Runs and accurately prepare Premium/Loss Comparison spreadsheets
  • Manage claim input, submission, and follow-ups
  • Review and document incoming payments Manage the front desk operations and general secretarial duties including:
  • Answer and route incoming calls/voicemail
  • Greet all clients and visitors
  • Sort, scan, and distribute all incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail.
  • Data entry, file, fax, copy, scan etc.
  • Maintain, order, and distribute office supplies
Required Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented with great organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task in busy environment
  • Team Player
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and interface with all levels of personnel
  • Computer proficient, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
