Hiring Agency Finance & Administration Cabinet | Office of the Secretary Location 200 Mero Street Frankfort, KY 40601 USA Description The Finance and Administration Cabinet is seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to join our team as an Assistant Director II within our Division of Human Resources. We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about supporting others, demonstrates a strong work ethic, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can effectively manage multiple priorities. The Human Resources Division is composed of dedicated professionals committed to delivering efficient and effective HR services. Our team works collaboratively while maintaining respectful communication with employees, supervisors, managers, and directors across the Cabinet. As the Assistant Director II, key duties and responsibilities include: Supervising and supporting the functions, initiatives, and mission of the Human Resources Division. Managing the Process and Recruitment Branch and the Employee Relations Branch within the Human Resources Division for the Finance and Administration Cabinet. Interpreting and enforcing Cabinet policies and procedures, as well as applicable KRS and KAR regulations. Supporting the Division Director in the oversight and administration of Human Resources operations. Managing and maintaining the Second Chance Employment Program Overseeing the Team Kentucky Internship Program. Overseeing cabinet administrative investigations, employee disciplinary matters, and grievance processes. EDUCATION
Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS
Five years of administrative or management experience, two of which must include direct supervision of personnel. Substitute
