Chiampou Travis Besaw & Kershner (CTBK) is a locally owned and operated full-service accounting firm based in Amherst, NY. With over 150 talented professionals on our team, we provide businesses and high net worth individuals with assurance, accounting, tax, and business consulting services. Our clients come from a variety of industries, including manufacturing/distribution, construction, real estate, not-for-profit, healthcare, and professional services. As a member of our Client Services Team, you would provide data and workflow support for our Tax Team. In addition, this position provides support throughout our tax operations services as needed. This position would be full-time, onsite, and does require regular overtime, especially from late January through mid-April, and late-August through early-October, including Saturdays during those periods. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage, review and organize client information for your tax team Analyze information received and request missing/additional information in a timely manner Manage trackers (tax document inventory and master lists of clients) Facilitate new client setup and onboarding processes Utilize various software to extract client information and keep workflows moving forward Manage and maintain client billing information Process 1099s and K-1s through internal system Assemble and deliver returns to clients Manage tax notices and POA tracking, routing, and administration A successful candidate will possess the following: Have a mindset of efficiency and problem-solving Manage comprehensive and accurate records while maintaining confidentiality Strong willingness to work with a team and collaborate to complete projects and tasks Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, especially in managing workflow processes Self-motivated and driven, with a proactive approach to anticipating issues and resolving them quickly Energized by working on simultaneous projects in our fast-paced environment Ability to work with and build meaningful relationships with multiple levels within the Firm Eager to learn and be resourceful Ability to timely and accurately meet deadlines
