Job Summary Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Barback, the essential backbone behind the bar experience! In this energetic role, you will support bartenders and bar staff by ensuring the bar area remains clean, well-stocked, and ready for service. Your proactive approach will help create a lively, efficient environment where guests feel welcomed and attended to. Duties Assist bartenders by restocking liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware quickly and efficiently to keep the bar fully prepared for service Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning bottles, bar tools, and surfaces in compliance with food safety standards Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from the bar and dining areas to ensure a tidy environment Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and moving stock safely around the venue Support food preparation activities when needed, including basic garnishing or setup for events like banquets or catering functions Ensure adherence to all food service bar safety regulations, including proper handling of beverages and cleaning procedures Skills Proven experience in food service environments such as restaurants, bars, nightclubs, or catering venues Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining hygiene standards at the bar and surrounding areas Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and assist guests promptly Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of supplies and equipment safely Familiarity with beverage service protocols and food industry safety regulations Previous restaurant experience is a plus!
