Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Collector to join our team at Rent a Wheel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts and ensuring timely collection of outstanding rent to own accounts. This role requires strong communication skills (Bilingual is a plus), and ability to analyze accounts effectively. The Collector will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization while providing excellent customer service. Duties Conduct thorough account analysis to identify outstanding debts and payment history. Communicate with clients via phone to discuss outstanding balances and payment options (Bilingual is a must to communicate with our customers). Maintain professional phone etiquette while addressing customer inquiries and concerns. Document all interactions with clients in accordance with company policies. Collaborate with the sales team to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy. Assist in revenue cycle management by following up on unpaid claims and field visiting as necessary. Provide exceptional customer service to foster positive relationships with clients during the collection process. Requirements Proven experience in debt collection or a related field, preferably within the Rent to Own industry. Strong understanding of collection processes Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written. Spanish is a must. Ability to analyze accounts effectively and develop strategies for successful collections. Proficient in customer service practices, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple accounts simultaneously. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in finance or healthcare is preferred.
