Full Job Description Collections Specialist Duties:

• Review, analyze and enter CPT and ICD 10 codes
• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve any billing discrepancies
• Communicate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients regarding billing inquiries or issues
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

Experience:

• Previous experience in medical collections.
• Proficient in using billing software and electronic health record systems. Epic experience is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with healthcare professionals, insurance companies, and patients.
