Credit & Collections Specialist $60,000-$65,000 Portland Metro | Hybrid Schedule (Onsite Thursdays, Remote Monday-Wednesday & Friday) Join a well-established Portland-area company known for its diverse business operations, financial stability, and long-term employee retention. Our client is seeking a Credit & Collections Specialist to become part of our large credit and collections team. This role is ideal for a professional with business-to-business collections experience who enjoys managing a high-volume portfolio, building customer relationships, and contributing to a collaborative team environment. As part of a structured department with multiple levels of advancement, you'll have opportunities to continue growing your career. What You'll Do
  • Manage a portfolio of 1,000+ commercial customer accounts
  • Conduct collection activities through phone and email communication
  • Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding balances
  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and account issues
  • Collaborate with sales, customer service, and accounting teams
  • Maintain accurate account documentation and collection notes
  • Utilize Excel to analyze account information and manage collection activity What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of B2B collections, accounts receivable, or credit experience
  • Experience managing a high-volume account portfolio
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including filtering, sorting, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and reporting Why You'll Love This Opportunity
