The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 Years experience in dental billing, be responsible for managing dental billing processes, including submitting claims and following up on payments for a variety of dental services. This role involves working with Dentrix and handling billing for general dentistry as well as specialty areas such as orthodontics, pediatrics, oral surgery, and endodontics. The Dental Biller plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement, contributing to the overall financial health of the practice. Responsibilities Manage daily dental billing activities, including preparing and submitting claims using Dentical Billing software. Handle billing for a wide range of dental procedures across general dentistry and specialties such as orthodontics, pediatrics, oral surgery, and endodontics. Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility to facilitate smooth claim processing. Follow up on unpaid or denied claims to ensure prompt resolution and payment. Maintain accurate records of billing transactions and patient accounts. Collaborate with office staff to resolve billing discrepancies or issues. Stay updated on insurance policies, coding changes, and billing regulations relevant to dental services. Ensure compliance with all applicable billing standards and privacy regulations. Skills Proven experience in dentical dental billing, Strong knowledge of dental insurance procedures, coding (such as CDT codes), and claim submission processes. Ability to handle billing for various dental specialties including orthodontics, pediatrics, oral surgery, and endodontics. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple claims efficiently. Effective communication skills for coordinating with insurance companies, patients, and team members. Ability to troubleshoot billing issues and follow through until resolution. Knowledge of current healthcare regulations related to dental billing is preferred.
