Job Description
Internal Medicine Medical Billing Specialist Individual must be qualified to do the following: Prepare claims to submit to insurance companies Work directly with the insurance company, healthcare provider and patient to get claims processed and paid. Review and appeal unpaid and denied claims Verify patients' insurance coverage as needed. Answer patients' billing questions Work on the Accounts Receivable Reports The ideal candidate will have superior customer service skills, knowledge of ECLINICALWORKS and billing as it relates to patient accounting. Working knowledge of insurance claim follow-up; able to work efficiently. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Required, 3 years of experience with internal medicine billing. Full time position.
