full-time Position Overview Support the accounts receivable function with a strong focus on account reconciliations, cash application, payment research, billing, and resolving discrepancies. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who can analyze account activity, identify variances, and reconcile balances accurately. Key Responsibilitie sReconcile customer accounts and revenue-related accounts, researching variances and correcting discrepancies .Apply customer payments and verify transactions against invoices and account balances .Research unapplied cash, short payments, overpayments, credits, and other account discrepancies .Prepare and review account statements, aging reports, and reconciliation schedules .Process refunds and account adjustments accurately .Create and submit invoices and support monthly billing activities .Communicate with customers and vendors regarding billing, payments, account balances, and discrepancies .Maintain accurate customer account information and supporting documentation .Provide account status and reconciliation reporting as needed .Support light collections activity on current and recently past-due accounts .Requirement s2+ years of accounts receivable or accounting experience .Experience performing account reconciliations is required .Strong understanding of debits, credits, and account activity .Experience with cash application, payment processing, billing, and discrepancy resolution .Strong Excel and accounting systems skills .Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills .Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered .
